From everyone sitting in Punjab to all those who are in a different time zone, ‘Blood Vich Tu’ from the upcoming Aate di Chidi is the song for every Punjabi. A typical dance number, that is so colourful and so Punjabi in its appeal, this song will get you tapping your feet and doing some Bhangra.
Written and sung by Amrit Maan, the music of ‘Blood Vich Tu’ has been given by Deep Jandu. Featuring Amrit Maan and Neeru Bajwa in what seems like a wedding ritual taking place in Canada, with all the Punjabis of the area having the time of their life, reminiscing the times of Punjab. Also in the song is BN Sharma, seen flirting with a woman and taking selfies, and well, making us smile listening to this dance anthem. Gurpreet Ghuggi and Himanshi Khurana are also seen dancing in this song.
Neeru Bajwa, who is portraying the role of a woman who has accepted Canada and its lifestyle as her own, seems to be participant in this ceremony with but a half-heart because she is not wearing the typical punjabi suit and is kind of reluctant in openly dancing while her husband sings this amazing song.
A direction of Harry Bhatti, Aate di Chidi is releasing on October 19. It focuses on the long-lost traditions of the past and how times have changed, and how also, Punjab has changed.
