Not many times have we had songs that describe a woman’s longing and desire. ‘Patt Lai Geya’ by Jasmine Sandlas is a complete expression of the same. A song of love, of desire, of solitude and of course, of our Gulabi Queen’s vibe and style.
‘Patt Lai Geya’ is different from Jasmine’s previous songs as in it is not exactly a dance number, but it does make one wanting to groove to it. Filmed in a small pink set, with Jasmine looking the perfect punjabi mutiyaar, clad in a yellow suit and a red lipstick, she seems like the epitome of a woman who is passionately in love with her man. The video of this song is directed by Jasmine’s sister Rosleen. The lyrics and music have been given by Ranbir Grewal and music is by Sukhjind.
Jasmine is one of the very few Punjabi singers who has always spoken her heart out, and is seldom afraid of any controversy or portrayal of her true self, to the extent of being open and frank about her relationship with Garry Sandhu. A recent post of hers which showed both of them together was captioned as “Fuck Falling. Let’s rise in love.” Cheers to her confidence and her efforts of spreading out positivity and self-love.
Like always, Jasmine has created magic with this song and we hope it will loved by her fans as well.
