She is vivacious and scenic when we talk of Mandy Takhar. This British Indian actress has her roots in Phagwara, she stepped in industry with movie ‘Ekam-Son of Soil.

Although, she did lot of work in period films but for the very first time she will be seen trying her hand in comedy with ‘Band Vaaje’ opposite ‘Binnu Dhillon’ and will play real life character in ‘Zindagi Zindabaad’ with ‘Ninja’. With passage of time she proved her acting skill time and again but now we will view her playing two different shades on big screen this year, comic and real life.

Although, we met her during promotion of ‘Zindagi Zindabaad’ but she also canvassed her beautiful thoughts for society. She completely criticized the drug abuse and alcoholism, and how harshening it is for family members. She had a strong viewpoint that movies can only give message but concerned people should stop this bad thing. It is harming both health and society. According to her “I can surely correlate with the real life situation, as I have seen people around with this issue, even one of my family member lost his life at young age”

Unemployment and drug abuse are very closely related what we all really feel, said Mandy Takhar. It’s better to chuck unemployment, as it is also attracting youth toward evil. She told that both the leads of ‘Zindagi Zindabaad’ would be having workshops with Mintu Gursaria to put life in characters. For now she is fully excited for her upcoming ‘Band Vaaje’ and portraying real life character on screen in ‘Zindagi Zindabaad’.
