The first song ‘Sun Sohniye’ from the upcoming film Afsar is released. The song is full of hues of love, of colors of a family and of shades of a Punjabi wedding function. Produced under the label of White Hill Music, it is sung by Ranjit Bawa and Nimrat Khaira and we must say, both of them very beautifully manage to bring out a rhythmically simple song.

It is a song which shows that the Tarsem Jassar is getting engaged to the government teacher being portrayed by Nimrat. The song has all that is typical of a Punjabi couple getting engaged. Falling in love with each other and dancing to the steps of those emotions, the happiness is so evident on the faces of both the lovers and also in the lyrics of the song. The music of ‘Sun Sohniye’ is composed by Jaidev Kumar and lyrics are written by Arjan Dhillon. The wedding season is just around the corner and the song will definitely be loved by all.

A presentation of Nadar Films and Vehli Janta Films, Afsar is being produced by Amiek Virk and Manpreet Johal. It has been written by Jass Grewal and directed by Gulshan Singh.

Afsar is all set to release on October 5.
